History is Deceiving.

A lie is a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive. Everyone lies to deceive others because no one wants to make themselves look bad. On a bigger scale, countries do the same. Clearly, there is not a country that wants to talk about the negative pieces of their history. Therefore, many countries lie about their history. There is always something to be learned from the past. So how are we suppose to learn from the past if countries leave parts of their history out? Not only that, but the struggles, accomplishments, and the wrong-doings of a country inform us on how they came to be today. We have the right to know the truth and not a biased view.
