Wordles

After looking at the wordle for the United States Declaration of War and the German Response to the United States, I believe that the U.S. was more concerned about their people, their peoples' rights, and their government, while the Germans seemed more concerned about the actual fighting. The United States was completely content with staying out of the war. We were not going to enter the war unless there was a "good enough" reason to. It turned out that the sinking of the Lusitania, which killed three hundred American citizens, was "good enough." In reaction to that, President Wilson asked Congress to declare war on Germany. He may have thought that Germany was imposing upon human rights. Germany was very occupied with their unrestricted submarine warfare (USW) efforts. Even though the German government made a promise to not sink American ships, they continued to do so. Therefore, proving that Germany was most concerned about doing whatever they could to win.
