Yellow Journalism

Yellow journalism is a type of journalism that is based on biased opinions, which do not provide any legitimate or well-researched information, to cover up solid facts. In addition to that, yellow journalism puts out misleading images and eye-catching headlines to boost sales and to evoke public opinion. Yellow journalism still exists in today's world. Magazines such as the Enquirer, Star, and the Globe are perfect examples of yellow journalism. "In the Nov. 29 issue of Star, on sale now, insiders from the Cruise and Brangie camps reveal the most intimate and shocking secrets of Suri and Shiloh's totally different lives." These magazines always report "insiders said this and insiders said that," which really doesn't prove anything. Those "insiders" could be completely wrong. Also, these magazines create ads saying they will pay readers to provide top stories.
